Mini-Camps are a great way to prepare children and potential leaders for an international CISV experience. The Mini-Camp will provide an opportunity for current chapter members and those who are interested in CISV to participate in a three-day version of the village program. This program will satisfy many participant needs including those in “underserved” age groups due to program availability, those who want to participate in a program but are not ready to be away for a long period of time, or those who may not be able to participate in a longer program for financial reasons. This Mini-Camp will follow program guidelines similar to a village. The program will also serve to further local and regional friendships among chapters.

Contact us for registration information.

When registering, for Chaperone, put <tbd> for now and, parents, do not register as a chaperone at this time. We will need a number of chaperones. All chaperones must have background checks less than two years old registered with the chapter. Janet Reynolds will coordinate chaperones.

Since we are hosting, we will need volunteers for set-up, clean-up, chaperones, train and airport pick-ups, snack donations, minding the store, and possible extra home stay overnights for distant travellers.

Parents, e-mail Donna Ross if you can volunteer and what you want to volunteer for. We need a lot of help for this.

JBer's: Bring-A-Sleeping-Bag for a CISV Friend! Youth who are coming by plane will need sleeping bags. Do you have a clean, labelled-with-your-name, extra sleeping bag to lend for the weekend? Save a friend $50 by lending a bag! E-mail Janet Reynolds if you can bring one.
