SUMMARY:Chapter Mini Camp
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the\n2026 Chapter Mini-Camp\nThis year’s theme is Frozen\nWe are happy to be able to offer a Chapter Mini-Camp to our BV JBers at Innabah Camp & Retreat Center.\nAs an organization dedicated to inclusivity\, CISV Brandywine Valley welcomes youth with all experiences and backgrounds. \nCheck in is on Friday\, January 23rd\, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Camp ends on Sunday morning\, January 25th\, at 11:00 am.\nInnabah is just north of Chester Springs off Route 100. Our group will be staying in a heated lodge with separate accommodations for male and female JB / chaperones. The lodge has bunk-bed style sleeping configurations. \n  \nHelp make CMC possible by being a chaperone! CISV rules require one chaperone for every eight youth. Chaperoning is a very low-key way for adults to see what the kids actually do at CISV (and it’s super easy\, because the JB board plans all the activities). Chaperones must be over 21 and have background checks (download the forms here) on file with the chapter. If you’d like to chaperone or have questions about the background checks\, please contact Heather Simon. \nChaperone shifts are as follows:\nFriday\, 6:00 pm – Saturday\, 2:30 pm (Saturday breakfast & lunch included)\nand/or Saturday\, 2:00 pm – Sunday\, 11:00 am (Saturday dinner & Sunday breakfast included)\nChaperones are FREE! and encouraged to come and watch their child learn about CISV.\nChaperone Registration is at the bottom of this web page.\n \n  \nEarly Registration Fee: $199.   The deadline to register at this price is January 10th at 6pm.\nThe registration fee is $215 from 6pm on January 10th through January 21st.  We cannot guarantee a t-shirt for registrations during this period.\nPayment can be made by Venmo or Paypal.  Payments by Paypal incur a $5 fee per participant to cover Paypal charges.\nScholarships are available.  Please email brandywine@cisvusa.org for more information.\nThe fee covers 2 nights of lodging\, 4 meals (Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast)\, and a camp t-shirt!! \n  \nSchedule:\nCheck-in is on Friday\, January 25th\, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. (Please let us know if you will be arriving late.)\nNOTE: No dinner is served on Friday night.\nPick-up is on Sunday at 11:00 am. PLEASE BE PROMPT. \n  \nWhat to bring:\n– Cold weather clothing (warm jacket\, boots if needed)\n– PJ’s\n– Comfy clothes\n– Running shoes for games/activities\n– Reusable water bottle\n– Toiletries/medicines\n– Towel\n– A snack to share\n– Required forms – see below\nDietary needs?  We will do our best to accommodate special diet requests (please indicate on registration form)\, but recommend that those with special dietary needs bring along their own supplemental FOOD and/or SNACKS. \nDo not bring laptops or expensive clothes/gadgets. Note that cell phone and tablet use will not be permitted by participants during the activities. \n  \nHow to Register:\n– Each participant must be a member of any CISV chapter.  Register here to become a member of Brandywine Valley.\n– Each participant must also complete the Youth-Legal-Form. This form requires the signature of both the participant and a parent and a copy of your family’s health insurance card. Please email the completed form and health insurance card to brandywine@cisvusa.org by January 22nd.  A reminder email will be sent prior to camp requesting these items.\n– Each participant must register and pay for Chapter Mini-Camp below. \nContact information and questions:\nGeneral questions: Email Joanna Morrissey.\nDuring camp: We will send a contact name and number before camp begins. \nREGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT. \nIf you can chaperone\, please return to this page AFTER completing the junior branch registration. \nPlease submit junior branch registration first before returning to chaperone registration. \n  \nOnce you register\, you will receive a confirmation email.
