DESCRIPTION:Chapter Mini Camp is filled for girls\, but we still have some spots open for boys. Boys\, please register here. \nGirls\, please consider signing up for our waiting list here. That way\, if someone drops off\, we will be able to contact you.  \nThe Weekend: We are happy to be able to offer a Chapter Mini-Camp to our BV JBers beginning Friday evening\, January 24th\, at 6:00 pm\, to Sunday morning\, January 26th at 10:30 am. \nWhat does it mean? Come and find out at our January 2nd JB Meeting! \nTheme: To be Announced at January 2nd JB Meeting \nThe Site: Refreshing Mountain Camp (RMC) \nIf you don’t need to know anything else\, just register to attend here! by January 12th! \nRMC is about 70 minutes west of West Chester.  Our group will be staying in two large\, heated cabins – one for males and male chaperones and one for females and female chaperones.  Each cabin has a bunk bed-style sleeping configuration. \nThe camp has a designated meeting room for our use\, as well as a gymnasium\, Dining Hall and outdoor field use\, weather permitting.  To learn more about the site\, visit: www.refreshingmountain.com.  If you need to contact the site\, call (717) 738-1490. \nAttendees:  As an organization dedicated to inclusivity\, CISV Brandywine Valley welcomes youth with all experiences and backgrounds. \nChaperones: Chaperones are needed for the weekend – one chaperone for every 6 participants. You must be over 21 to chaperone and have background checks registered with the chapter (download the packet here or contact Julie Manser with questions). Please let us know if you can help by signing up below. Chaperone shifts are as follows: \nFriday\, 6:00 pm – Saturday\, 2:30 p.m. or Saturday\, 2:00 pm – Sunday\, 11:00 a.m. \nChaperones are free! and encouraged to come and watch their child learn about CISV.  Thank you! \nCost: The cost is $130\, which includes a water bottle and exclusive CMC sticker! Price includes 2 nights\, 4 meals (Saturday breakfast to Sunday breakfast). Registration must be received by January 12th! \nItinerary: Check-in is from 6:00–6:45 p.m. Friday January 24th. Please let us know if you will be arriving late. No dinner is served on Friday night. Pick-up Sunday is between 10:00 and 10:45 a.m  \nWhat to bring: \n\nCold weather clothing (warm jacket\, boots if needed)\nComfy clothes\nRunning shoes for games/activities\nToiletries/medicines\nSleeping bag/pillow or twin bed linens (required or fee will be assessed)\nTowel\nRequired forms – see below\nDietary needs?  We will do our best to accommodate special diet requests (please indicate on registration form)\, but recommend that those with special dietary needs bring along their own supplemental FOOD and/or SNACKS.  Refreshing Mountain provides cold storage space\, as well as access to a microwave and toaster for food prep.\n\nDo not bring laptops or expensive clothes/gadgets. Note that cell phone and MP3 player use will not be permitted by participants during the activities – and can only be used during free time. \n Registration: \n\nEach participant must register below. You will then have the option of paying by Paypal or by mailing a check made out to BV CISV. The cost is $130\, which includes a water bottle and exclusive CMC sticker! DESCRIPTION:MARMC is coming\, so put your name on the waiting list  here. \nChaperones\, sign up here.\nYou might be asking yourself\, “what is MARMC?” \nWhy\, it is the new Mid-Atlantic Regional Mini Camp\, our first ever! due to the new region change! \nIt is also one of the coolest events of the year! It is a weekend full of activities\, similar to our Chapter Mini Camp\, but with participants from Philadelphia\, Brandywine Valley\, Pittsburgh and Washington D.C.. \nBrandywine Valley has been allotted more slots; we will take JBers as they signed up.  \nIf you don’t need to know anything else\, sign up now. \nRMC this year is being co-hosted by both Brandywine Valley and Philadelphia at Refreshing Mountain Camp (and yes\, it is a funny coincidence that we will be having RMC at RMC). Everyone will be arriving to the campsite on Friday\, March 15th at 7:00pm and departing on Sunday\, March 17th at 10:30 am. \nThe Details:\nWhere: Hosted by Brandywine Valley and Philadelphia Chapters at Refreshing Mountain Camp\, 455 Camp Road\, Stevens\, PA  17578. \nWhen: 7:00 PM Friday\, March 15th to 10:30 AM Sunday March 17th. \nWhy: Meet new people! Expand your horizons! \nWho: You!! Anyone 10 years or older can attend\, and anyone over 21 can be a chaperone. Sign up fast because there are a limited number of spaces! \nCamp Theme: Dino-Mite. Download the pre-camp here. \nHow: Sign up now to register. \nIMPORTANT: Each chapter in the region gets 18 spots for JB (and possibly more). If you plan to come to RMC\, please make sure you register. When the first 18 spots are filled\, we will have a waiting list\, and if you sign up for that\, we will be in touch when additional spots open up. \nCost:  $130 \nIn addition\, each chapter must send one chaperone for every six JB. \n1-6 JB = 1 chaperone\n7-12 JB = 2 chaperones\n13-18 JB = 3 chaperones \nOnce we have a headcount for each chapter\, we’ll send the registration/payment link to those who have signed up. If you’re on the waiting list\, we’ll contact you asap to let you know if we have a spot for you.
