This summer and into the fall, BV JBer Anna Wentz and her father built the latest addition to Warwick County Park, Chester County. The book depository, Anna’s IB community service project, was installed late October 2018.
Thanks to Anna, a senior at Owen J. Roberts, children and adults can access and contribute books for all to share through this small library in the park.
Of particular interest are nature books, particularly for pre-readers through elementary grades, but adult nature books and other genres are welcome too.
Anna decided to create this library as it related to design and engineering; her planned major is Industrial Design, and she currently takes engineering classes in high school. She also loves books and reading!
Prior to finishing the library, Anna also participated in Community Day at the park, displaying the library and handing out flyers she designed about it.
